The Health Department has reached out and asked for our help in surveying our students to see how many 16-18 year olds are willing to get the COVID vaccination.

Jason Perrins Named New CSD Superintendent

The Chewelah School District Board of Directors is happy to announce that Jason Perrins has accepted the Chewelah Superintendent position. The Board and Mr. Perrins are working to finalize a contract and Mr. Perrins will begin his tenure as Superintendent on July 1st.

4 Days a Week Letter

Students Move to 4 Day Weeks

The Chewelah School Board has accepted the Gess Elementary four day a week reengagement plan at the March 17, 2021 board meeting. Starting April 13, 2021, students will be coming back four days a week, Tuesday through Friday.

Chewelah School District is looking for Paraeducator professionals!

Chewelah School District is currently looking for paraeducator professional substitutes and will be filling several paraprofessional positions as we move to re-opening school K-8 to 4 days a week, Tuesday through Friday.

Reminder: No School Friday, March 12. It's a Snow Make-Up day!
