Please see the attached file for updated information on today's school closure in response to a threat to the district.
School Canceled Due to Threat September 10, 2024
Chewelah School District Schools are closed today, September 10 due to a threat at Jenkins Jr/Sr High School.
Students riding buses will be returned home.
Law enforcement is investigating and additional information will be sent out as soon as it becomes available.
