To offset the hardship of seeking a testing location the Chewelah School District is offering COVID-19 testing for families. Please contact your school building if testing is needed (509)-685-6800 ext.4015.
Over the past 24 hours we had an individual who tested positive for COVID-19. We have followed through with our mitigation protocols and have identified and contacted any close contacts.
I would like to thank everyone for the effort your make to follow the at home screening procedures and the effort you all make to keep your students' home when they are ill or being tested for COVID-19. Currently, we have about 37 students out with some type of illness.
